Jinx Chapter 19 will start a new chapter in Kim’s life as all of his debts have been repaid. It seems the doctor has nothing to look forward to now that the criminal is taken care of. However, things are never that simple for our tragic protagonist as a moment of relief is followed by pure and utter despair.
We see Kim at the mercy of a loan shark when he is caught making a deal to get out of his building. That’s because demolition accelerated one year. This left him with little choice of what to do, especially since all of his money was spent on essentials. Leading him to ask for a down payment from his new employer.
However, that money is also spent (and the rest too) on loan sharks. Stripping him of all choices as to what to do next, and with nothing left for him, he’ll become their plaything. Luckily for him, Jaekyung shows up at his apartment, but things are never easy when he’s involved.
Jinx Chapter 18 recap
Jinx Chapter 18 sees a quick change in the status quo when Jaekyung and Kim Dan visit the hospital for an MMA fighter check-up. There, Kim’s new normal is laid on top of her, leaving her wondering what will happen next. Though, the story hints that there will be hope for him in the upcoming chapters.
That hope was starting to look weak as he was lectured by Jaekyung when Kim told him about not getting involved in his business. The MMA fighter reminds him that if he hopes it is, he can come back and lose what little pride he has left. But he also offers her another option, to lose all self-esteem while living with her.
Kim came to understand what an MMA fighter meant because she was used as a snack by the latter in the morning. All the little hopes that had been built until now woke up when Jaekyung was lulled to see Kim who was obedient. It was then that Kim realized that all the good intentions were for Jaeyung’s selfishness.

Jinx Chapter 19 will see what a doctor’s new life is like as he prepares to work. He was fouled a few hours ago by a good MMA fighter* and his mind was completely messed up. Though, she had clarity about what the man wanted. And that will help her stay away from the guy.
Distance of any kind is exactly what he needs because he is owned by Jaekyung. He would have to brace himself for the difficult times ahead if he wanted to free himself from the ropes he was holding on to. A statement too foreign to the BL manhwa genre… And this series is from writer Manager Kim.
We’ll see how Kim’s workspace will also be affected as she no longer has to worry about getting caught in the gym with Jaekyung. However, the knowledge of going to him and facing the problem again would probably bring his mood down. As the series progresses, Kim Dan’s mind becomes more and more cluttered, and his life is no different.
